Elac Miracord 60 Audiophile Turntable

A light-weight carbon fibre tone arm with gimbal bearing and a removable headshell offers flexibility in the choice of cartridge.

Note: No specific cartridge is included at delivery but the Miracord 60 is open for almost everything that anyone could ever want as a pickup as almost every type of system can be handled: 3,5 –15 g @ 0,5  – 5 p of downforce. This enables the ability to sell your preferred type of pick-up alignment for the customer requirements.

Equipped with a massive diamond chamfered piece of engineering art made of 22 mm die-cast aluminium.

The plinth is made from one 50 mm block of MDF whose outer shape and inner structure are precisely CNC machined to a tolerance of 0,1 mm.

The high gloss and high quality lacquer tops off the appearance of the Miracord 60. The 2,5 mm silver coloured anodized aluminium forms a coarse contrast to the elegant and smooth black lacquering.

The custom integrated rubber damping allows for a high-end, hi-fi felt mat on top of the platter instead of the DJ-style rubber mat most competitors use in this price range.

This damping eliminates all unwanted platter resonance but even more effectively than a mat.

The Miracord 60 motor bearing has a sensor built-in that sends its signal to a PID algorithm in the microcontroller which will then tune the speed of the DC motor.

The result are ultra-low speed variance and wow & flutter figures to deliver unparalleled sonic performance.

If desired, the motor including its suspension can be hidden underneath a machined aluminium cover.
