This page contains the terms and conditions for buying Ruckus products from BlackWire Designs. These terms override the standard return policy.

Ruckus products sold by BlackWire Designs are considered special order. There are no returns. When you buy the product you own it. All warranty must be done through Ruckus.

By checking the Agreement box on the Ruckus product you add to your cart you are agreeing to the conditions below:

Support Requirements

Zone Director

ZoneDirector or SmartZone 100 Controllers and any associated Controller License upgrades REQUIRE Watchdog Support be purchased (for the first year only) and includes the following for the term of the contract (1 YR, 3 YR or 5 YR options are available, with a 3 year option, you pay for 2, with a 5 year option, you pay for 3)

  • 24x7x365 Phone/Web/Chat support from a Ruckus Wireless Engineer
  • Web access support
  • Advance Hardware Replacement
  • Software updates

Unleashed

Unleashed APs do not require Watchdog Support but it is highly recommended, without it, Customers will not receive phone support, Unleashed support includes the following for the term of the contract (1 YR, 3 YR or 5 YR options are available, with a 3 year option, you pay for 2, with a 5 year option, you pay for 3)

  • 24x7x365 Phone/Web/Chat support from a Ruckus Wireless Engineer
  • Web access support
  • 30 Day Advance Hardware Replacement(1 year, 3 years and 5-year advance replacement contracts are available separately)
  • Software updates

ZoneDirectors and all indoor APs come with a limited lifetime hardware warranty, which includes 30-day advance hardware replacement.

The standard out of the box warranty for any of our outdoors access points is one-year hardware and

labor, with 30-day advance hardware replacement, after the 30 day period, it is return to factory.

An extended warranty for outdoor APs is recommended
