Cisco has released a new firmware that has an Auto Baud rate feature and it is NOT compatible with Control4. You will need to do the following steps to correct this issue.

Give your computer a static IP address of 192.168.1.50 then plug it directly into the cisco switch ( the last port is usually best )

Enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser window and log in

Make sure you check box password strength disable!!!!! DO NOT CHANGE THE PASSWORD!

Select Administration on the left to expand the area.

Select Console Settings:

Select Static. The speed should stay as 115200

Click Apply. The message should show success when its done

Now we need to save this setting to be permanent

Select Administration then File Management then Copy Save Configuration. The properties should look like below. Then select Apply

A pop up window will appear. Click OK

Then it will show the Copy is finished

Now power cycle the switch. Unplug the power cord for 10 seconds and then plug it back in and wait 5 minutes and proceed to Identifying the switch per the instructions.

If the switch still will not identify go to the lua tab of the driver, in the top box copy and past enableSerial(). Click execute. Then power cycle the cisco switch again.
